Working Together with TWCI
Simple collaboration ideas that can also make money
Who is TWCI?
SA provider for neurodivergent teens and young adults
Focus on social groups, camps, and employment support
Already working with schools and employers
Who is Soaring Together?
NDIS provider with barista, SLES/Finding and Keeping a Job, and other skill programs
Strong on coaching, work-readiness and interest-based programs (e.g. coffee, gaming)
Profit-for-purpose: income goes back into opportunities for participants
Idea 1 – We Plug Our Programs Into Theirs
TWCI runs their groups and Industry Insight Days. Soaring Together adds extra sessions — like barista or esports — for the same young people.
💰 Money
TWCI is the main provider and pays Soaring Together a fee for the extra sessions
TWCI keeps some margin for admin and coordination
Idea 2 – One Shared Program
A joint 'Pathway to Work' program — each organisation runs the sessions they do best.
TWCI runs:
Social skills
Employability
Mentoring
Soaring Together runs:
Barista
Esports / NDL
Small business skills
💰 Money
Young people have a service agreement with each organisation
Each of us gets paid for the sessions we run
Idea 3 – Events & Social Enterprise
Work together at events — TWCI camps, school expos, local festivals — using a joint coffee cart or similar.
💰 Money
Some income from NDIS (support hours)
Extra money from selling coffee or other products
After costs (beans, cups, wages), profit is split fairly between both organisations
Idea 4 – Paid Training for Schools & Employers
Co-deliver workshops together for schools and employers.
Schools
How to support neurodivergent students into work
Employers
How to work well with neurodivergent staff
Money
Schools/employers pay a simple fee
Soaring Together and TWCI agree on a split based on who delivers more
What We Get Out of It
For Participants
More options and choices
More chances for real work and social connection
For TWCI
No need to build them from scratch
For Soaring Together
Paid work delivering our strengths
More referrals
Stronger reputation
