To confirm the minutes & action taken on the previous Governing Body meeting (11.08.2025).
Action Taken: Admissions & Training
Boost Admissions: Central Admission Cell formed; both teaching and non-teaching staff actively working to improve numbers.
Placement Planning: TPO conducted pre-placement activities resulting in improved placement records.
Training Assessment: Pre-drive surveys conducted to organize technical training aligned with company needs.
Action Taken: Alumni & Research
Alumni Engagement: ₹2.30 lakhs contributed for AICTE Idea Lab; Pune chapter activity initiated.
NPTEL Courses: List publicized to staff and students regularly (Complied).
Competitions: Registration in CODEVITA successfully complied.
Patents: Initiatives to increase patents are currently In Process.
Action Taken: Publications & Curricula
Publications: Efforts to increase papers in Springer/Scopus journals are In Process.
Curriculum: Indian Knowledge System included in curricula (Complied).
Faculty Development: FDP on OBE organized (Complied).
Industry Exposure: Sending faculty to industry is In Process.

To approve ratification and compliance with various regulatory authorities (AICTE, DTE, SUK, NAAC).
Regulatory Compliance: AICTE & DTE
AICTE: EOA for A.Y. 2025-26 received (05/04/2025) for all programs including intake variation in CSE & IT.
DTE: General approval received for all programs.
DTE Intake: Awaiting approval for CSE & IT intake increase (60-90).
DTE Process: Intake approval process for 2025-26 completed on portal; DSY vacancy update completed.
Regulatory Compliance: SUK & NAAC
SUK Renewal: 3-year affiliation received (30/06/2023) for Civil, Mech, CSE, ETC, IT, M.Tech.
SUK Expansion: One-year affiliation received (15/07/2025) for CSE/IT intake increase; Affiliation for AIDS (1 yr) and MCA (3 yrs).
NAAC: AQAR for A.Y. 2023-24 submitted on 28/12/2025.
NAAC Portal: Portal masked due to new software implementation until Feb 2026.

Institute Achievements: Accreditation & PhDs
NBA Accreditation: Granted for Civil, CSE, and E&TC for Academic Years 2025-26 to 2027-2028.
Ph.D. Award: Dr. Aarati P Chougule (Civil Dept) received Ph.D. from Sunrise University.
Grants: Dr. Archana Chougule received ₹1 Lakh grant for ATAL FDP on NLP and LLM.
Academic Excellence: 07 students secured University Ranks (Civil-1, IT-6).
Institute Achievements: Innovation & Sports
Faculty Development: 13 faculties registered for Ph.D.; 03 completed NPTEL courses.
Innovation: Shantanu Ashtekar (S.Y. ETC) granted a Utility Patent and won multiple presentation awards.
Global Alumni: Prajwal Rao admitted to Masters at South Westphalia University, Germany.
Sports: Medals in Interzonal Weightlifting (Bronze) and Athletics (Bronze) under Shivaji University.

Civil (Construction Management): 11 (F.Y) + 12 (S.Y) = 23 Total
Master of Computer Application (MCA): 68 (F.Y) + 39 (S.Y) = 107 Total
Total PG Enrollment: 130 Students
Total Placed: 99 Students (95 UG + 4 PG)

To discuss Intake Increase for UG, New Course for PG (A.Y. 2026-27), and Extension of Approval (EoA).
Proposed Academic Changes
Mechanical Engineering: Proposal to increase intake from 60 to 120.
E&TC Engineering: Proposal to increase intake from 60 to 90.
New PG Program: Start new PG course under Computer Science & Engineering group (Intake: 18).

Fee Structure Highlights (B.Tech First Year): Includes Tuition, Development, University, Insurance, and Activity fees.
PG Fee Structure Overview
Master of Computer Application (MCA): Total Open Category Fee = ₹85,099. SC/ST Fee = ₹7,099.
M. Tech First Year: Total Open/OBC Fee = ₹88,599. SC/ST Fee = ₹1,099.
Note: SC/ST candidates have significantly reduced fees, primarily paying for University/Insurance charges.

BOS Minutes: AI & Mechanical
AI & Data Science: Include subjects like LLMs and Business Data Science. Set MDM credits (14 total) with industry experts.
AI & Data Science: Introduce Mini-projects/PBLs and offer NPTEL courses as MDM.
Mechanical: Follow UGC 60-40 scheme guidelines.
Mechanical: Cover major streams in MDM course structure.
BOS Minutes: E&TC and IT
E&TC: Integrate Math contents into other PCCs. Combine LIC, Control Systems, and Measurement contents.
E&TC: Focus on Open Source software, Internships, and Project credits.
IT: Include trending tech (AI/Data Science). Increase practical-oriented subjects.
IT: Projects must address factual societal/industry needs; Industry interaction from 2nd year.
BOS Minutes: Civil & CSE
Civil: Rename 'Minor Project' to 'Mini-project'. Focus on Estimation software and regulation training.
Civil: Move Construction Mgmt to PG level. Introduce MOOC courses.
CSE: Online certifications (Coursera/Oracle) in syllabus. C++ mini-project focused on DS.
CSE: Open electives for non-engineering/interdisciplinary topics. Lightweight MDM with hands-on focus.
Academic Council Consolidated Report
Uniformity: Maintain uniform credits across all programs.
Changes: Accepted minor modifications from BOS meetings.
Research: Faculty seed research grant approved to promote R&D.
