What Is Creation?
God created EVERYTHING — the sun, moon, stars, oceans, animals, and YOU!
He made it all in 6 literal days and rested on the 7th
The first humans, Adam and Eve, were made in God's own image (Genesis 1:27)
When God finished — He said it was 'VERY GOOD!' (Genesis 1:31)

Why Does Creation Matter to ME?
You Are Not an Accident
God personally designed and created YOU. You are not a mistake — you were made on purpose, with purpose! (Psalm 139:14)
You Were Made for More
Being made in God's image means you reflect His character. You are royalty in God's kingdom! (Genesis 1:27)
We Are Caretakers
God gave us the responsibility to care for His creation — our planet, our community, each other. (Genesis 2:15)

WONDER
Take time this week to look at the stars, a flower, or a sunset and say 'God made this for me!'
WORSHIP
Because God made you, you owe Him your praise. Thank Him for creating you exactly as you are.
WITNESS
Tell a friend: 'We didn't happen by chance. God made us — and He loves us!'

What Is the Sabbath?
The Sabbath is God's weekly GIFT to you!
God created the Sabbath at the END of Creation week — Friday sunset to Saturday sunset (Genesis 2:2-3)
The 4th Commandment says: 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it HOLY' (Exodus 20:8-11)
Jesus kept the Sabbath — 'As was His custom, He went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day' (Luke 4:16)
The Sabbath is not just a rule — it's a RELATIONSHIP day with God!

How Do WE Keep the Sabbath?
The Sabbath IS about...
Spending time with God in prayer & Bible study
Going to church and worshipping together
Resting from school, homework & regular work
Nature walks, visiting sick, helping others
Quality family time and fellowship
The Sabbath is NOT about...
Doing regular homework or chores
Playing video games all day
Shopping or running errands
Being bored — God made it to be joyful!
Just following rules with no heart

PREPARE
Get your homework done by Friday! Plan something special to do with God on Sabbath.
PARTICIPATE
Be present at church. Join in Pathfinder Sabbath activities. Don't just sit — engage!
PROTECT
Guard the Sabbath from things that distract you from God. It's YOUR special time with Him.

BAPTISM

What Is Baptism?
Baptism = Going public with your faith in Jesus!
Baptism is done by FULL immersion under water — just like Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River (Matthew 3:13-17)
It is a symbol of THREE things: Your old sinful life DIES, you are BURIED with Christ, and you RISE to a brand new life! (Romans 6:3-4)
It is your public declaration that Jesus is YOUR Lord and Saviour
After baptism, you officially become a member of God's church family

Baptism: The 3-Step Journey

DECISION
You choose to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. You believe He died and rose again FOR YOU.

Must be YOUR own decision — not just following friends!

PREPARATION
You study the Bible, meet with your pastor, and learn what it truly means to follow Jesus every day.

Take time — real preparation matters!

DECLARATION
You go under the water and rise up NEW. Sin is washed away. You join the church family!

Now the real journey of living for Jesus begins!

Am I Ready for Baptism?
Ask yourself these honest questions:
Do I BELIEVE that Jesus died for MY sins and rose again? (Romans 10:9)
Do I UNDERSTAND what baptism means — that I'm making a lifetime commitment to follow Jesus?
Am I ready to LIVE DIFFERENTLY — to let the Holy Spirit change how I think, speak, and act?
Have I TALKED with my parents, pastor or Master Guide about my decision?
If you answered YES — talk to your pastor or Master Guide today. Baptism is the most important decision of your life!
