EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sauti ya Chuo (Voice of the Campus) is a youth-facing civic dialogue show distributed primarily on YouTube, with short BTS clips and episode teasers on TikTok to drive awareness and audience growth.
The show creates a structured, moderated platform where student leaders from Kenya's tertiary institutions across the country gather to discuss governance, political affairs, and civic issues that directly affect young Kenyans.
To ensure geographic equity, the production team will travel to different institutions across the country for filming. Each episode will be anchored at a different campus or region, reflecting the voices of students from Nairobi to Mombasa, Kisumu to Eldoret, and beyond.
Koigi wa Wamwere. Raila Odinga. Mwai Kibaki. Paul Muite. Kenneth Matiba. Kenya's political giants cut their teeth in student leadership. Sauti ya Chuo carries that torch into the digital age.

THE PROBLEM
Rationale & Need
75%
of Kenya's population is youth
Low
Youth engagement in formal political processes
Nairobi-centric
Civic dialogue overwhelmingly concentrated in the capital
Youth are excluded from formal political and governance processes by structural, social, and educational barriers
Campus political culture is underdeveloped — student governments are underfunded and underrepresented in media
Existing civic shows target older, already-engaged audiences — not students
No national platform exists that elevates student voices from ALL regions of Kenya
