Start Legal Age: 18+

You can legally purchase and consume alcohol in Australia if you are aged 18 or older.

Public Restrictions

There are strict restrictions on drinking alcohol in public places. Beaches like Coogee & Bondi are alcohol-free zones.

Road & Transport Safety

Bikes & Cars

You MUST wear a helmet when riding any bike. Buckle-up in cars, Ubers, and buses equipped with seatbelts.

Drive on the LEFT

We drive on the left-hand side of the road. Be hyper-aware when crossing streets!

Respect & Conduct

Illegal activities in Australia will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Student Visa: Duration

Extensions are generally not possible from within Australia for this visa type.

Travelling on Your Visa

You can travel outside Australia and return as many times as you want while the visa is valid.
