INTRODUCTION
What is TSIS2?
Treatment Site Information System (TSIS2)
is a centralized web-based system that links all HIV treatment sites across Jamaica to facilitate better management of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) through continuity of care.

All date fields have a calendar picker
Tick "Missing" if information is unavailable
Dropdown fields require a selection from the list
Click "Create" or "Update" to save the record
Why TSIS2 Won't Save Your Entry
Incomplete Form
The 'Missing' checkbox was not ticked for unavailable fields.
Missing List Selection
A required item was not selected from a dropdown list.
Date Validation Error
A date field contains an invalid or future date. Scroll to find and correct the error.
Click 'Try Again'
After fixing errors, click 'Try Again' until all corrections are made and the record saves.
Always scroll up and down to check for red error messages before retrying.

Adding a New Client Record
APPOINTMENTS
Scheduling Appointments
Clinical appointments are set at the end of every Physical Exam entry.
Only clinical (doctor) appointments appear in reports.
Support staff (social worker, nutritionist, etc.) can also set their own appointments.
Non-clinical appointments do NOT appear in reports.
The 'Next Appointment Date' in reports always refers to the clinician visit.
Each appointment has an 'Actions' button allowing Edit, Delete, or View Details.
Understanding the Client Dashboard
DASHBOARDS
The Client Dashboard provides a quick summary of each patient's care history — including addresses, dockets, ARVs, viral loads, CD4 counts, and enrollments.
Shows the last 5 entries per category.
EMTCT
Elimination of Mother-to-Child<br>Transmission
Monitoring HIV+ Women Through Pregnancy
The EMTCT module identifies and monitors HIV-positive women throughout their pregnancy. This module only appears when a female patient record is retrieved.
Pregnancy Tab
Record pregnancy details, ANC care, delivery mode, and outcome.
Antenatal Visits Tab
Log visit dates and tests (HIV, HB, Sickle, Syphilis).
Newborn Tab
Monitor newborn delivery details and pregnancy outcome.
A pregnancy remains active until a delivery or outcome is recorded. Only one active pregnancy at a time.

Docket numbers are NEVER changed. New docket numbers are appended to the existing record.
NEW FEATURES
New TSIS2 Updates
Recent enhancements to improve patient care and data quality.
SMS Appointment Reminders
TSIS2 now automatically sends text message reminders to patients about upcoming appointments.
Go to Registration → Actions → Edit → Scroll to 'SMS Notification Number' to add the patient's cell number.
Note
Tick 'Exclude from SMS' if patient opts out.
Comorbidities Tracking
Record additional diseases or conditions a patient may have alongside HIV.
Go to Physical Exam → Add New → Scroll to 'Comorbidities' field. Multiple conditions can be added.

Psychosocial & TRAT Module
Updated Services module with new TRAT (Treatment Readiness Assessment Tool) tab.
Go to Services → TRAT tab → Add New to complete a TRAT Summary for the patient.
Fields
Client, Facility, Performed by, TRAT reason, TRAT done, Action, Notes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is my information in TSIS2?
No breach has occurred since 2008. TSIS2 uses encrypted databases, VPN, and built-in security features to protect all client data.
Will anyone who logs in be able to see all my data?
No. Only authorized staff at the patient's assigned sites can view their records.
How do I return a patient marked as Out of Care or Deceased?
Remove the death date by editing the client record. For Out of Care, use the In Care Tab under Registration.
Why can I not find a client under My Facility Clients?
Ensure a docket number linked to your facility is attached to the client record.
How do I determine which site I am logged into?
The site name appears in the top-left corner of the TSIS2 sidebar.
