Works Done by RWA Sector 141
A Report on Community Development & Maintenance Initiatives
Active Leadership & Governance
Contrary to general assumptions about the sector's zoning, Sector 141 possesses an active and engaged Resident Welfare Association (RWA). Led by President Advocate Latsahab Lohiya, the RWA regularly monitors sector development, coordinates with Noida Authority officials, and conducts on-ground inspections to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the area.
Major Anti-Encroachment Drive
The RWA Sector 141 has spearheaded significant anti-encroachment operations in collaboration with Noida Authority Work Circle-8. Following complaints regarding illegal possession of public spaces, a massive drive was executed using bulldozers to clear roads and entry points. As documented in local news coverage, over 50 illegal carts and temporary structures causing congestion and illegal extortion were removed to restore order.
On-Ground Action: Noida Authority & Police removing illegal structures at RWA request.
Sanitation & Hygiene
Regular cleaning of sector drains to prevent waterlogging and disease.
Deployed sanitation workers for sweeping streets and common areas.
Manual removal of construction debris and roadside waste.
Green Cover Initiatives
In line with the national environmental goals, the Team is actively increasing the green cover of Sector 141. The team has organized plantation drives under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, ensuring saplings are planted and maintained in parks and green belts.
Infrastructure Maintenance
Ensuring the safety and functionality of sector infrastructure is a priority. Works include the repair of manhole covers to prevent accidents and the maintenance of street lights using hydraulic lifts to ensure the sector remains well-lit and secure at night.
Community Health Services
Welfare extends beyond infrastructure. The RWA organizes free health check-up camps for residents and support staff. These camps include blood pressure monitoring, general physician consultations, and partnership with local hospitals like Felix Hospital to promote community well-being.
Advanced Horticulture
To manage the sector's greenery effectively, mechanized solutions are employed. This includes the use of cranes and lift machines for the pruning of tall trees, ensuring they do not interfere with power lines or obstruct street lights, balancing aesthetics with utility.
Fostering Patriotism: Flag Hoisting Ceremonies on National Holidays
Strategic Governance
The success of these initiatives stems from regular executive meetings held at the RWA office. Here, strategies regarding development, security disputes, and future projects are deliberated upon by the committee members to ensure transparent and effective sector management.
